Get Involved in our Local Business Development Group
ABC wish to actively promote business development in Abbeyleix and surrounding townlands including Ballacolla, Ballinakill, Ballyroan, Durrow, Spink, Shanahoe, The Swan and Raheen. We are looking to promote and assist business and would like to form a group of local business owners who are interested in developing business opportunities in the locality.
We are interested in forming a group across all the business sectors including: farming, food, retail, construction, tourism, arts, manufacturing, business services etc. We would like to hear from people:
* Interested in starting a small business in the locality and looking for ideas and help
* Interested in being self employed & reselling your skills
* Have an existing business in the locality and would like to develop your business opportunities.
* You have an interest in business development and would like to offer help or assistance to businesses in the area.
* You have a business idea and are looking help.

Business Incubation
There maybe an opportunity to provide business incubation space for start up businesses in Abbeyleix. If anyone starting a business is interested in low cost office space in the town please let us know.
The space maybe available in heritage house which is a fully serviced building with carpark, canteen, meeting rooms and pleasant atmosphere.
Option 1 Desk space: This includes desk space, broadband internet, meeting room, presentation rooms, business address, shared printing. This is possible for a very basic rent when shared with similar small businesses in the locality.
Option 2 Address Only: If you work from home and would simply like a professional business address please contact us. e.g. J Bloggs Ltd, Heritage House, Abbeyleix Co. Laois and post can be forwarded to your home address.
If suitable individuals are interested there maybe space for 3 start up businesses in Heritage House. When we find a sufficient number of interested people we will sit down to decide on exact format. Please contact us if you are interested in either of the above offers.
