Connections, a serious of porcelain inlaid ceramic vessels detailing maps which are of personal significance. The pieces on first glance look abstract but on closer inspection clearly show specific areas from historical maps. Each individual vessel represents an area of significance such as the birth place of important family figures or the primary school they attended or the church they married in. The vessels can stand alone but together they build a story or map of the journey of each person and connect one person to another.
