I am an illustrator working in the visual arts, painting, bog wood sculpture with several exhibitions within the recent past, last one in Abbeyleix Library. I like portrait painting, in oils, acrylics, watercolours and pencil. Landscapes, semi abstract paintings, sketching wildlife are also one of my favourite subjects, and are taken from some of the fine nature walkways in and around Abbeyleix.

I like making animations, I also do black & white street scenes of Abbeyleix which are available mainly as postcards and are available through certain Abbeyleix shops, or by ordering directly.

I also write on the monastic tradition within Laois and the country as a whole.
