Tidy Towns

Abbeyleix Tidy Towns  received three National Awards in 2009 and a Bronze Medal for being the 2nd tidiest town in the County.  Success would not have been possible without the tremendous support we receive from our partners Laois County Council  Laois Partnership, Fas our local C.E scheme  and the Local community. Congratulations  to Scoil Mhuire  who are being ascessed for the School third green Flag, and every good wish to the South School  who had an ascessment recently for their first Green Flag. The Schools were involved in the National spring Clean and were a tremendous support to Tidy Towns committee.
